Architectural design and project management services for a 7,500sf modular daycare facility at Seacliff Village Shopping Center in Huntington Beach, CA. The facility is comprised of 8 modular buildings arranged in a staggered shape with an upgraded floor system. It is licensed for 84 children with a playground including sandboxes, patio area for outdoor learning, landscaping for active play areas, etc.

The design was inspired by the use of building blocks integrated into the design facade. The square, rectangle, triangle, cylinder, etc. are all integrated into the facade which was painted a variation of primary colors.  This design served to eliminate the modular appearance and further integrate Patti’s Preschool into a recently-remodeled shopping center.  This project received a design award from the Modular Building Association for the Modular Building of the Year.
