The Mooslin residential project involved working on a single-story, beach cottage that was outdated and functioned as a 1 bed/1 bath unit. The owners retired and looked forward to spending time near the beach in a comfortable, modernized home, but also didn’t want to lose the charming original character of the house. DSEA’s design was created with the intent of possibly adding an art studio above the garage in the future. One unique design feature was the living area extended onto the patio, taking advantage of the extra space to relax and feel the cool ocean breeze.
